SEMI FINAL: THE NETHERLANDS v CROATIA
The Dutch entered a historic semi-final game against home country and last year's runner-up Croatia knowing full well the reputation the Knights have: hit or be hit. In earlier games, the Croatians proved this during a bench-clearing all-in brawl against Scotland, but the focus for the Dutch was firmly on playing good football.
The two goal advantage for the Croatians was soon worn away by a skillful and determined Dutch team, who could see a Grand Final position opening up as the game progressed.
In the end, the Dutch grabbed the spoils and a guaranteed medal position by running out 11 point winners and a chance to take on last year's champions England in a historic first EU Cup Grand Final for The Netherlands.
